Songs to the Morning Horizon
Quick Overview
Dedicated to the beautiful youth of The Lotus Revolution, Songs to the Morning Horizon is a collection of love poems which heralds the rise of the New Dawn. It brings back Banned Light from Ancient Times. It was written beginning from year 2000. Mostly ready in winter, November 2010 (Thul Hejja 1431, Hathor 1727) some weeks before #jan25 Lotus Revolution, however, printing was delayed until the first weekend of Easter/Sham el Nessim, April 2011, this first breath of New Lotus Spring in Free Egypt.Doubt it not ! This story is true. Like a drowning sailor in the lapis blue, I clung to a papyrus roll just like you. Saved and protected, and happily too, I saved these amazing stories which I document here for you. I began writing these reports as a journalist in year zero of our time, when I found myself thrown deep in unknown waters, on a dangerous mission: My voyage out of the Empire of Darkness. These are the records of my exit from the Black Swamp to reach these beautiful shores, to bloom my first bloom, by the banks of the Nile, in this New Light of Dawn. (Excerpt from the book) The author, Sherif Mahmoud el-Hakim, is an Egyptian, born in Cairo, August 1943. He speaks English, French, and Arabic. First edition, paper back 240 pages, two colour photos, and six pages of notes. Warning: a few poems (18) are in French, and published here without translation. All other poems were written in English. The French sub-title of the book: Jacasseries du Babouin could be translated as Chants of the Baboon.
Available in Egypt cash on delivery via books.com.eg (click photo link) Also available at the Town House Gallery bookshop, Cairo, Egypt And at Ras Sheytan Bookshop, South Sinai, Egypt. For outside Egypt contact: celhakim@hotmail.com

The Lotus Revolution:

It is not as boring as it seems, and don’t forget Songs of the Revolution: Below is an exorcism for Mubarak to leave, the day before he left.

Part 1/4 August 16, 2010 Landmark interview, Alex talks with former director of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence, Hamid Gul: Mumbai attacks done by CIA, 911 inside job, USA has lost Afghanistan, Blackwater inside Pakistan trying to destabilise Pakistan and Iran, doing the bidding of Israel and India …

As you know, Mr. Gul recently characterized the “leaked” Wikileaks documents implicating him in a string of attacks against US and NATO forces in Afghanistan as “malicious, fictitious, and preposterous.”

Criminal State - Part 1 of 3: A Closer Look at Israel’s Role in Terrorism

Jeff Gates along with Anthony Lawson produce this startling new video that is an absolute necessity for every thinking person. How many Israeli connections do we need, to connect the dots to Israel as key in orchestrating 9/11?

alawson911: "How long can we allow the maniacs who are driving us to the brink of World War Three to stay in power? We’d better do something soon, or we will all be done for." …

"Any copyrighted material in this video has been used in the interests of the survival of humanity, and anyone who objects to its use is one sick individual. We have allowed the sociopaths with their wealth, greed and selfishness to rule us for too long, only by making an effort, ourselves, will anything ever change."

Torture whore exposed: UK Ambassador Linda Duffield
This is Linda Duffield’s take on the vexed moral question on whether or not it can be justifiable to boil somebody alive to obtain information from them:

"There were difficult ethical and moral issues involved and at times difficult judgements had to be made weighing one clutch of "moral issues" against another. It was not always easy for people in post (embassies) to see and appreciate the broader picture, eg piecing together intelligence material from different sources in the global fight against terrorism."

http://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2010/06/proof_of_compli.html#comments
Linda is now the chief executive of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, an all-party supported organisation, funded by the FCO (UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office) , to spread democracy abroad. This is their blurb:
Established in 1992, WFD is an independent public body sponsored by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, from which it receives an annual grant. Over the years we have grown in strength and diversity, working to achieve sustainable political change in emerging democracies. Working with and through partner organisations, we seek to strengthen the institutions of democracy, principally political parties (through the work of the UK political parties), parliaments and the range of institutions that make up civil society. We believe that, for a democracy to flourish, all of these institutions must be strong and sustainable.
I don’t imagine this includes training in the reasons why it can be OK for a democracy to condone boiling people alive, but who knows? I have worked with WFD in Poland and it used to do very good work, but it was distorted by Blair to focus its work in support of places we were invading, occupying, bombing or selling arms to. See how many of the current case studies on its website fall into that category?http://www.wfd.org/pages/standard.aspx?i_PageID=144
And what an interesting gathering this was in Prague of the proponents of “democracy” by invasion, organised by “democracyandsecurity.org”.http://www.democracyandsecurity.org/doc/List_of_Participants.pdf
The conference brought together Richard Perle, Aznar, the American Enterprise Institute, the exiled Cuban opposition, numerous Israeli representatives and the neo-con funded Amir Abbas Fakhravr of the “Iranian Freedom Institute of the USA”.
